What started as a Christmas present ended up being this recording.

John and I recorded a song as a gift for my grandmother, Mary C. Norris and great aunt, Gladys C. Mayes. We enjoyed it so much we decided to make an entire album. These songs are a combination of their lyrics of wisdom and our musical influences.

They can tell it like it is. They understand more about life than we will ever know and it shows in their music. This passion for music gave birth to their own publishing company, Silver Dash Music. The "Silver" refers to their hair and the "Dash" for one last dash at fame in the music business.

This project has been a true labor of love. Bringing this to fruition has been such a blessing and it couldn't have come at a better time in my life.

It's family. And all the people involved with this album are family, too. My hope for anyone willing to listen is that you will earnestly enjoy this...
